2022 Delmarva Soil Summit

Updated COVID Policy (1/10/2022) This conference is all about exploring how adaptation can drive success. The same is true for our Covid-19 requirements. We are focused on the health and safety of all attendees, and it is essential that we adhere to protocol set in place by our federal and state funders. To bring you a vibrant event with an in-person option (we’ve missed seeing you!), we are requiring that all people participating at the Wicomico Civic Center be symptom-free, maintain safe distancing, which will be part of our conference design, and wear- according to CDC guidance- an FDA-designated mask. Masks will be provided free to all attendees. We will work with our team and the facility staff to clean and sanitize spaces as needed.  See our full Covid/Cancellation Policy here.

Whether you farm 2 acres or 2,000 acres, this conference will deliver information that’s relevant to your farm’s scale and production type. We’re bringing in experts from around the country, and bringing you the latest updates from researchers right here on Delmarva. With learning tracks and farmer panels for both large-scale commodity farmers and small-scale diversified growers, there’s something here for everyone!

The 2022 Delmarva Soil Summit offers options to attend either in person or virtually:

  • In-person attendees will have access to two days of keynote speakers and breakout sessions, small group clinics, a poster session, exhibitors and networking opportunities, along with access to all presentation recordings for a full year after the conference. Lunches, continental breakfasts and light fare at Monday evening’s networking reception are included. (Hybrid Ticket)
  • Virtual attendees will have access to all keynote and breakout presentations, along with access to all presentation recordings for a full year after the conference.

If the cost to attend is a barrier for your participation, please let us know! We have a limited number of scholarships that we are happy to offer on a case-by-case basis.
