Theme: Human Rights By Any Means Necessary press conference will feature solidarity statements from a plethora of educators, artists, activists, and political representatives. We will reflect on Malcolm X's legacy while addressing today's social-political climate, marked by increasing authoritarianism, racism, and inequality under a rising Trump/Elon Musk regime. Founder & CEO of FA-MLI and the Malcolm X Legacy Project, Torrence Brannon-Reese, MSW, will present a bold Black Agenda focused on Reparations, Reconstruction, Healthcare, Housing, Education, Entrepreneurship, Criminal Justice Reform, and more. This final dedication completes the vision of the newly established Malcolm X Corridor, a 33-year-old vision brought to life! III. 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM | MALCOLM X LEGACY FESTIVAL & Centennial Celebration //Location: Leimert Park - Black Arts Village (Crenshaw & Vernon)This all-day celebration features: A Live Concert entitled "Save the Youth, Save the World," a Fashion Show, Spoken Word and Poetry, Solidarity statements, Film Screenings, Youth Activities, Social Justice Vendors, Food, Art, Community Unity, and Dynamic Networking.
