Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher

Event Details

Springs Ensemble Theatre (“SET”) rounds out its 11th season with Jeffrey Hatcher’s adaptation of Robert Louis Stephenson’s novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Directed by SET member Taylor Geiman, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the classic story exploring the evil that resides in all of us.

Dr. Henry Jekyll’s (David Corder) experiments have gotten away from him. In his exploration of the human condition, Jekyll has created Edward Hyde (Cyndi Parr, Allyson Hackworth, Max Ferguson, and Matt Radcliffe) – a shadow self who is willing to commit acts of violence and depravity which Jekyll cannot. Then Hyde meets the beautiful Elizabeth (Bethany Kuçana) and Jekyll fears for her life. Jekyll and Hyde’s internal battle bleeds out onto the streets of Victorian London, leaving a trail of mayhem in its wake.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is SET’s annual fundraising event for IndyGive! Performances will be available to stream for a donation from December 9 — 20. This is an online only event. The show will run from midnight on December 9 to 11:59pm on December 20. Access tickets and place donations at springsensembletheatre.org/show. The show will cease to be available after December 22. No refunds can be processed.
