StandUp St Croix

Event Details

For the fifth year in a row, comedian Natasha Pearl Hansen returns to the island of St. Croix USVI to perform standup, this time with comedian Jake Snell. LIVE from the island, join these two and their audience of VIP island locals for a special night of laughs and curated comedy to round out 2020.

Natasha Pearl Hansen started working in comedy fifteen years ago with Second City Chicago. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 and has performed standup for over a decade, touring domestically and internationally with recent headlined tours in Spain, France, Italy, Scotland, London, Germany, and the Czech Republic... before the world broke. In 2018 she launched her podcast "Future Role Model," which she did a live recording of with island locals during her last headlined performance in St. Croix. Her first comedy special "I Was Supposed to Get Married Today..." was filmed in late 2019 on her canceled wedding day, and will be due out in early 2021 with Comedy Dynamics.

Jake Snell is a comedian from Madison, Wisconsin. Since taking the stage in late 2014, he has become a Midwest favorite, producing popular independent shows and opening for nationally touring headliners such as Dan Soder, Ian Edwards, and Marina Franklin to name a few. His unique blend of cheeky, disarming standup has served him well; he has performed standup in comedy hubs across the country, and he is a regular feature act with touring comics. In fall of 2019 Jake was a feature comedian on 5 of Kyle Kinane’s “Spring Break Tour” shows. He is a regular performer at Comedy on State and has stimulated the Madison comedy scene to a significant extent, helping attract opportunities to local comedians. Jake is also a co-founder and producer of the third-year festival Madison Comedy Week.
