Interview with Heather Blair Engine Media

Heather Blair- Biography Heather is a sales executive. She studied marketing and communications at Tarrant County College in Ft. Worth Texas. She moved to Los Angeles in 1988 and started her sales career in print and digital advertising with the Creative Industry Handbook, a complete resource for below the line vendors used in film, tv and commercial production. Then she created the Themed Entertainment 411- an international resource of vendors used to build and maintain attractions including theme parks, science centers, zoos and aquariums. Heather was the associate publisher at both directories. She’s held the Director of Sales and Marketing position at publicly traded entertainment company, Valcom, Inc. and at Atlanta- based gaming company, World Touch Gaming, Inc (WTG). At WTG she was responsible for growing their list of publishers and bringing sponsors to PRIZEWAGON.COM She’s been an account manager for Point 360, a publicly traded national broadcast and post facility as well as the Western Territory Channel Manager for Asia Media Products, an international manufacturers’ rep firm servicing post and broadcast industries. In 2001 Heather created OuiMarket4U, Inc (OMI) a sales consultancy. In 2010 Heather’s OMI was hired to help former CIH/TE411 advertiser MediaMation, expand their market share in Themed Attractions. She extended their market share by bringing their 4D technology into the cinema industry. She negotiated deals with all the film studios to procure blockbuster content for programming in 4D including Sony, Fox, Paramount, Disney, Lionsgate, Relativity and STX Entertainment. As Head of Cinema, she secured cinemas across the globe to purchase 4D technology. In 2018 Heather was nominated and selected as one of the Top 50 Women in Global Cinema presented by Celluloid Junkie. Heather is the founder and President of Global Nonprofit, Women in Exhibition (WIE). WIE supports women’s initiatives and creates educational forums, while fostering support for women entering the exhibition industry and those who are in career transition. Ongoing education, mentoring and career guidance are key objectives. OMI continues to rep several technology companies including LUMMA 4D Emotion & OnirixVR. Her new company Cinema Esports Alliance (CEA) produced the Cinema Esports Think Tank in August 2019 and Cinema Esports Workshop, November 2019 during the Esports Awards. Torque Esports/UMG GAMING/Frankly Media has hired CEA in a management role to sell advertising partnerships and sponsorships.

Joel is an experienced Marketing and Executive Sales Leader. He has a passion for technology sales working as the VP of DOOH at http://www.Swiftmile.com and CRO of http://www.CodeFirm.com

His first endeavor was importing and distributing Malaguti motorized driven scooters from Italy. Recent projects included launching the experiential arm of Brightbox a VC backed national kiosk phone charging network (now owned by Luxor/EBSCO Industries) and bringing to market the first photo booth Digital-Out-of-Home network. Over the years he has represented and fashioned several brands in the United States and Europe. He received a BA in Political Science and Marketing from the University of Florida, with certifications in International Relations and Latin American studies.
