  • Attendees look behind the scenes to learn how hotels evaluate group business, quote rates, assign space and prioritize their sales efforts.
  • Effective “hotel insider” contracting techniques are discussed – learn about intentional traps, additions and omissions that hotels include in their contracts and how to work around them.

Reviews from attendees:

What a program!   I enjoyed the session very much. The first thing I did when I returned to the office was review our RFP template and update the verbiage used in many of the sections.

  • Medical association meeting planner

So much excellent content -- I was afraid to go out of the room for a cup of coffee... I was afraid I’d miss something. It was the best training I’d ever received in over 20 years of planning.

  • Medical corporation meeting planner

Since I’d attended the Tom’s sessions, we have taken our meeting planning in-house and generated thousands of dollars in revenue as a credit to our Master Account. My boss and I both want to thank you for everything.

  • Financial corporate meeting planner

From our junior managers to our senior 35-year professionals, everyone learned something to make them more effective. Thanks again for all your help!

  • Non-profit association meeting planner
