Madeiran singer Nuno Perestrelo, 34, started his journey in show business at a very early age, having joined several choirs, participated in festivals, concerts and musical theaters, starring in the performances as the main soloist. Moved by his passion for music and the desire to pursue a musical career, he joined the Conservatory of Music in Madeira in the Classical subject, in addition to private free singing lessons to perfect his vocal technique, under the guidance of Professor Carla Moniz (Soprano). He is Baritone and Contra-tenor (he is a male singer who sings, using falsetto (or even modal voice in rare cases), in a corresponding tone or whose vocal range is equivalent to that of the contralto or mezzo-soprano). He joined the range of leading singers in several shows at Casino da Madeira as well as accompanied by the Big Band. He was part of the cast of the Musical “Grito de Esperança” at the Madeira Congress Center. He joined the show “It Takes Two – The Greatest Duets” at the Bahia Restaurant at Casino da Madeira, residing until April 2019, as one of the main star vocalists.
